"What about second breakfast?"
It takes a certain person to be able to watch 3 3 hour long movies, and I am that person. This is probably my second favorite in the series with Return of the King leading in first place. It is so detailed and breathtaking.
- I love the scenery, the music, and the costumes. It really draws you in brings this world to life.
- I love the Hobbits and how little they are and how they are always hungry because same.
- While it is a long movie, I really like how they travel to all the different kingdoms and meet all of the people that are introduced in the beginning of the movie like the elves, the dwarfs, and Galadriel's people. All of their kingdoms are complex and beautiful.
- All of the fight scenes are so well choreographed and so awesome.
- I love how throughout these films we see the descent of Frodo with the ring and how It is so endearing even to an innocent Hobbit like Frodo and Bilbo. He wears the ring many times and you can tell it tempts him throughout showing us how it for sure needs to be destroyed.
- It is so long it hurts.
- I need more things to be explained about the realms in middle earth because even though I have seen this trilogy many times I still get confused as to what is what.
Overall: 4 out of 5 Stars

Never watched this mind staggering triology before in a single binge, glad I watched this. This is one of the many movies which you wanna watch it before you die. Seriously it's a standard now.
Great trilogy, the first part wasn't quite great but still, it was good. The following parts are better and the whole story on a whole is a treat.

It’s amazing how well this holds up. A true classic and one of the greatest fantasy movies of all time, maybe only topped by its successor, The Two Towers.
Adventurous, charming, mysterious, and even better than the books (there, I said it).
This movie works on a character-level and a plot-level, seamlessly combining the two to create a taut, meaningful story that is an epic adventure as much as it is a personal journey.

Still holds up today as a fantastic adaptation of a wonderful book. The extended version in particular is worthy of your time and bridges some of the gaps missing from the standard movie and the books.
The Fellowship of the Ring is one of those films that comes once in a lifetime, how fortunate we are as human beings to be around at a time where 3 of these films are released within 3 short years!!
The fellowship is just the perfect blend of setting the story, fleshing out characters and introducing us to the world of middle earth!
Ian McKellen as Gandalf is just legendary.... mysterious, loveable, occasionally hilarious and in THAT iconic scene, completely immortalised.
Elijah wood, Sean Astin, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd showcase perfectly not only their playful naivety and innocence but a good heart along with their fierce will and courage to do whatever it takes.
Sean Bean does what he does best in most films but has never upset as more in this case and whilst doing so shows us both the best and worst qualities of humans in the harsh, hostile but magical world of Middle earth.
By the end of the film you're dying to see what happens next and at every turn you get both attention to detail and storytelling that is seldom found elsewhere.
If you haven't watched the Fellowship of the Ring yet, I beg of you! Do it!! It's the first film of a trilogy that is so close to perfection that it will only be seen once in a lifetime

After SW franchise imo the next brilliant series is the LOTR trilogy - LOTR FOR encompasses the same emotions as the afore mentioned films - the extended feature is better than the regular - fantastic acting from a diverse cast not to mention the amazingly beautiful cinematography - as relevant as the amour attributed to GWTW - essential viewing
Soundtrack is amazing. Characters are so well played and I love them. Very comical and emotional. They are long films and addictive so be weary.

Der beste Part der Trilogie, obwohl alle drei nicht schlecht waren, war dieser dann doch der, welcher mich am besten beeindruckt.

Greatest of the 3 and quite possibly my favourite movie of all time!
The cast is exceptional and the fight scenes Aragorn is involved in are just fantastic...
A meek Hobbit from the Shire and eight companions set out on a journey to destroy the powerful One Ring and save Middle-earth from the Dark Lord Sauron.
Lord of the Rings will be the best adventurous movie evermade. This movie series has a best Soundtrack, Locations, epic war scenes and teaches what is friendship. This is the must watch movie, exclusively for nature and fantasy lover.

Love this trilogy! Might be a bit slow and boring for some, but for fans of the genre, this is an essential watch.
Herr der Ringe. HERR DER RINGE!! Dazu sage ich nicht mehr als 12/10!
