This is a well-acted, amusingly-scripted, poorly-plotted, violent, vulgar and profane bit of fun, for those who like that sort of thing.

The first one was way better, but this was not bad, even though they really changed the style and tone. It was still very entertaining and a good follow-up. In this one, they focused more on the comedy, while the first one was a bit more serious in tone and had more action.
I was sad to see that Elodie Yung did not come back for the sequel, but I am not sure if she would have worked out as well with the more goofy comedy spin on this one. My biggest problem with the sequel was the hard turn in tone and style from the first one. The plot was fine, it was as predictable and deep as the first one. However, the first one was a bit more serious in tone, whereas this one is a Looney Tunes/ Tom & Jerry comedy styling. Ryan Reynolds's character should have died like 20 times or at least broken something. He gets hit by cars and vehicles the way Willie Coyote gets hit by boulders. It is a bit too ridiculous. At least in the first one, he gets shot and bleeds. It was a bit more grounded. Also, the fact that Samuel L Jackson and Salma Hayek are trying to conceive a child, and they continue to make a big issue about it throughout the whole movie is a bit ridiculous. He is in his 70s and she is in her mid 50's I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but it's not going to happen. Are we suppose to assume they are in their 30's is that the joke, jajajajajajaja.
Overall it's an entertaining film, Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L Jackson still have phenomenal chemistry on screen, and Reynolds as always delivers on his amazing comedic timing while Samuel L Jackson is still a bad mother fu...
If you liked the first one you will enjoy the sequel.
