Really, really awesome documentary about Oasis! Truth be told I’ve never really been a die-hard Oasis fan (except when it’s 4am, I’m plastered and Wonderwall comes on) but I definitely have a newfound appreciation for their music! And also they have an incredible catalogue.
What makes this special is the amount of live footage they have which really brings the documentary to life and it feels like you’re almost watching a movie! Also, the real star of this documentary is the editor. The way the footage, interviews and visuals are edited together into a story is probably some of the best I’ve ever seen in a documentary. I hope someone received a price for this because it’s real art!
Their no-fucks-given attitude is absolutely hilarious and once again I was confirmed that behind any succes story is a lot of failure and hard work.
Finally I think this movie has a beautiful silver-lining: everything must come to an end and be careful you don’t push it too far!
@TanyaP THANKS FOR THE REC 🙏
I expected this movie to be fun because it has a fun plot line but it really positively surprised me. Don’t expect anything highbrow but just an easy teenage movie that keeps you thoroughly entertained. Most importantly the plot line keeps evolving in directions I didn’t foresee which keeps you interested! Borderline 9 👍 Highly recommend
Decent Asian Hong Kong inspired food. Picked the Szechuan chicken which honestly was a bit disappointed - so had to go for seconds! The sweet and sour chicken was a lot better.
The dim sum platter was deliiiiish!
Off the beaten path on an unassuming residential street hides Casa Florida! The atmosphere is the real attraction decked out in pink everywhere and will make any influencer jealous. Their happy hour from 5-7 has beer buckets 🍻 for $10 and half price oysters 🦪 What more do you need?
Will definitely come back for brunch or lunch and while it’s located in a funny spot it’s really just 10 minutes walking to downtown Brickell!
Thanks for great company @JacobMorrison @MarkusMarañonStraarup
Interesting and super important topic but it just didn’t feel quite thoroughly researched and it had the feeling of a low budget production that received a lot of media hype. I also found a lot of their infographics infuriating and really gave the impression of a journalist trying to drive sensation rather than sound and logical argumentation: “all the fishing strings in the sea can go around the world xx thousand times”… That’s impossible to relate to! Is that a lot? Compared to what?
Interesting watch but the production and storyline was lacking
Fun bar in downtown Brickell! Good beats, good drinks, can get a bit crowded so ideally you get there early and grab a table!
Also my good friend @HenryFovargue is gonna spin records there on Wednesday 😍
Overall good plot and an impressive lineup of actors but felt like the movie never really started. A bit too slow for my taste and some scenes especially felt slow and as if they were trying to be a bit too artsy. Quickly seen, quickly forgotten! It’s a 6.5 but it’s Saturday so I’m in a gracious mood = 7
