Bridgerton is a highly binge-watchable series that features elegant costumes, posh characters, and storylines that aren’t too shabby. The show feels like it’s reeling you into a a whole new universe, making its biggest impact with the ensemble’s brilliant performances. Although the episode’s lengths are ungodly, they become quite necessary after all is said and done.

I don’t know why people are obsessed with the show it’s Bad.What really throws me off is that it’s supposed to be a historical drama but people are dancing to Thank U next ?

This one just sucks you in. I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I did or to binge it in a single night, but that’s what happened. It may seem like your typical romantic costume drama, but it goes several steps further.

I think most of these points are just for the Duke of Hastings. I liked the genre busting casting. The story was light and easy to follow.

The side characters were so much more interesting than the main characters, and they got more and more frustrating to watch towards the end. However, it was overall a somewhat predictable love story in a time where predictability was what I needed.

It has a very good soundtrack, the dialogues of each scene are well worked, and although I am not a fan of romanticism, but each chapter of this series is very addictive so it motivates you to want to see the next chapter.

It was captivating but I just found it a little over the top for me. Loved the instrumental versions of modern songs though 💕

I really wanted to hate this but I just gotta admit it’s strangely addictive! My wife started watching it and before I knew it I was sort of watching it too. Beautifully filmed and the costumes are truly amazing! Well done 👏

It is a period drama that is not period accurate, but at least the relationships and characters are interesting.

Liked it better then "The Crown". The characters had a little more "zippedy doo dah" and nicer looking!

Gorgeous set pieces and costume design. Most character motives were clear except for some incredibly odd and vindictive decisions by the main character not to mention the constant moping around of the main love interest. It’s the junk food of the genre

Scrumptious, indulgent fun - really perfectly pitched between drama, mystery, romance and humour (I've never rooted so much for a rich family!!). I feel Bridgerton arrived at a perfect time - after an appalling 2020 - to have a programme as effervescent as a Champagne glass handed to you around NY was just what we needed. One of my underrated favourite parts of the show was the string versions of modern songs. Shonda Rhimes and her imagination strike again, to wonderful effect!

Finally! I’ve managed to persuade my housemates to watch this with me 😉 Everything it says on the tin: gossip girl meets downtown abbey. Far more historical inaccuracies, far more gossip and a surprising dollop of feminism thrown in (doing what they can in the constraints of their society...)

Lady Whistledown, Eloise and Benedict saved the show for me. “They” became literal rabbits at the end!
